Last year, the first hospital to join our family was based in Florida (North Florida Veterinary Specialists – NFVS), and this year the “Sunshine State” has once again brought us our first new hospital. We are excited to welcome Clermont Animal Hospital in Clermont, FL as our 61st practice (and fifth in Florida.)
This fully equipped animal hospital offers compassionate, ethical care to patients and unrivaled service to clients in the areas of wellness, general surgery, dentistry and in-house lab testing. In addition, the practice employs the latest technology in laser surgery and therapy and stem cell therapy. Clermont is less than 30 miles from Bay Hill Cat Hospital in Orlando, about 60-75 miles from Cypress Creek Animal Hospital and Bayonet Point Animal Clinic in Lutz and Port Richey, FL, respectively, and a roughly three-hour drive from NFVS in Jacksonville. It is also within eyesight of Disney’s Magic Kingdom in Orlando.
The practice was started by Dr. Stanley Diment in 1996 and will celebrate 20 successful years next month. Dr. Diment is a graduate of Michigan State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine and has been practicing for over 40 years. He is also a proud organizer of CritterCare International, a non-profit organization that provides veterinary services and community education to countries in need.
Dr. Diment is supported by three talented Associate Veterinarians: Dr. Martha Karcher, Dr. Martha Jones, and Dr. Jill Ring. Rounding out this impressive team are Practice Manager Susan; Front Office Manager Jessica; Technicians Mallory and Judy S.; Assistants; Ron, Karen, Joseph, Jennifer, Marci and Judy T; Receptionists Jean, Lindsey, Sarah, Jennifer and Holly; and Kennel Attendant Jacob.
